                                          mentions Fibs tampon, the Kotex
                                          tampon, developed in the
                                          1930s, on page 16. Fibs had no
                                          applicator, unlike its main
                                          competitor, the two-tube
                                          Tampax (read and see the first
                                          Tampax?).
