THE MUSEUM OF MENSTRUATION AND WOMEN'S HEALTH: BIRTH CONTROL, MENSTRUAL
PERIOD
Menstrual blood extractor, U.S.A.
I don't know if this extractor was every manufactured (there are similar abortion
devices which actually enter the uterus), but if it was, and if it worked,
the inventor claimed it could shorten the period to less than one day. The
inventor instructed the user to squeeze the "trigger,"insert it
into the vagina (see diagram below) and then release the grip. The device
then sucks out the blood and loose tissue from the interior of the uterus.
Do it several times in one day and Voilà! no more menstruation this
month. Does anyone have more information
on this extractor?

kept back in.
