"Vacation Special"
Delineator magazine
Contrast
this ad with the friendlier,
informal Kotex
one from the exact
same month!
The frosty,
isolated rich ladies in
Modess advertising - see the famous
Modess
.... because ads - seemed too good for
menstruation. Not so
the chatty but still rich ladies who
used Kotex.
(Oh, sure, both brands had each
others' characteristics through the
years but I've got to come up with something
on a Sunday afternoon.)
More glamorous
Modess, more relaxed
Kotex.
