Sta-Pacs menstrual tampons
(1930s? Sta-Pacs or Stapacs Company, U.S.A.)
Procter & Gamble kindly
donated the box and contents as
part of a gift of scores of
menstrual products.

Below:
A 'pon right out of the box; none
had a wrapper (see comments
about this). From the tip of the
fuzz at left to the end of the
tube, far left, it measures 5
3/16" (13.2 cm). I don't see any
effects of oxidation like
yellowing.

Below:
The upper (outer) tube measures
2.25" long and 5/8" (6.9 x 1.7 cm)
in diameter; the inner tube 2.75 x
11/16" (7.5 x 1.5 cm). Both have
shiny exteriors.
The tampon plug (business end)
measures 2.25 x 5/8" (5.5 x 1.5
cm), the string 4 7/8" (about 12.1
cm).

attaches to the plug almost like
the probably contemporary Fibs and B-ettes
tampons.
