The cervix opens only during birth. Based on the physical facts it's
impossible for a tampon to get lost in the body.
In addition the TAMPAX tampon lies exactly where the menstrual blood
exits (see the illustration [above]). Every
secretion is immediately absorbed. A pooling in the body or backing up
is completely impossible. When a TAMPAX tampon is full and can no longer
absorb the menstrual blood, the secretions can run free because even the
full TAMPAX tampon cannot block the open end of the vagina. This is no
theory;

it's medically proven. Only those who don't know how a TAMPAX tampon
works fear a backing up caused by the tampon. A conception that the correct
facts put right forever. The high absorbency and favorable, body-correct
position of the TAMPAX tampon give you perfect security.
However, it's understandable that at first you have the feeling that
"that can't be enough" because of the small size of the tampon.
(But you know that feelings rarely correspond to the facts.) Therefore
