Kotex stick tampon ads, 1970s

Kotex made a series of well-designed ads for its stick tampons (see the tampons here) in the 1970s. In both ads the words "femininity today" appear in tiny type, which seem to attempt to brighten up the feeling associated with menstruation and to indicate that times have changed in fashion; this was a revolutionary era.

I don't think the word soft would appeal to women today, who might feel it means weak.
