consumers.' " (I added the color)
The quote does not say Tampax
tampon, just tampon.
The wife of Tampax's first
salesman: "It was a hush-hush thing.
. . .
You didn't even talk about it
girl-to-girl. I wouldn't talk
about things like that with my own
mother."
Many women visitors to the museum
when it was in my house (1994-98)
said similar things.
The text mentions the early
Johnson & Johnson Lister's
Towels; they
actually stayed on the market
longer than the text implies.
