liners, Germany, 1983 &
1989
These two German Carefree
panty pads ads for younger
teens and preteens are
bolder than most American
ads of the genre. The lower
one discusses the use of the
pads for the white vaginal
discharge that often
precedes the first menstrual
period. Both appeared in
magazines aimed at kids
10-18 years of age.
