Early Modess menstrual

Both Modess and Kotex used
photographs in their ads in the late
1920s and beyond, including the first
photo of an actual woman, a woman who
would later become famous.
No, it's not
the KKK trying to earn extra money.
You might be looking at one of the
first menstrual ad showing enlarged
body parts - the legs and shoes
- giving no clues to a menstrual pad
even though later ads often used
talking heads.
A retired teacher kindly sent the
electronic files of the ads.
