How much did a competitor's ads cost?
Competitors in any field find out as much as they can about each other.
In this case Tampax seemed interested in knowing what Campana, maker
of Pursettes tampon, which is no longer made,
paid for two ads in early 1964.
I don't know what time period the $13,375 refers to in the last sentence
but it's probably since the beginning of the year.
Tambrands, the former maker of Tampax, generously
gave this memo and its attachments to this museum.

The memo measures 8.5 x 11" (21.6 x 27.9 cm). Stapled behind the
upper left corner are the two pertinent ads shown on the following pages.
I fuzzed out the names and initials on the memo except
the ones at bottom right.
"B&W" means black and white.
